Brampton - The Region of Peel is launching a new renovation assistance program, Peel Renovates, that provides funding to low-income homeowners who require immediate repairs or upgrades to their home.
Brampton - Funding is now available for non-profit agencies providing community and social services in Peel through the Region of Peel Community Investment Program. The program’s focus is to build the capacity of Peel’s non-profit sector and enable organizations to make a positive community impact with their programs and services.
Brampton - International business and environmental experts will share their knowledge and best practices of energy management at the ninth annual Energy Matters Summit . The two-day conference will take place on May 6 and 7 at the Toronto Congress Centre.
Brampton - Employees of the Region of Peel and Peel Regional Police took up the United Way of Peel Region’s challenge to “give, volunteer and act” in support of their local community and together raised close to $500,000 through personal donations and events for the charity in 2012.
