Brampton - Yesterday, the City of Brampton recognized its student entrepreneurs at a ceremony for the annual BizPlan Competition. This is the fourth year that the City's Small Business Enterprise Centre (SBEC) has presented awards to secondary school students who have developed an effective plan for operating a small business.

Brampton - After a lengthy fight back, CAW Local 513 members have ratified a closure agreement with Simmons Canada that ensures workers will receive severance pay. The 134 CAW members who worked at the Brampton facility ratified the agreement by 62 per cent on April 25.
