Toronto - As part of a joint force initiative between Federal Investigative bodies in Nova Scotia and Ontario, four people involved in the importation of a substantial quantity of heroin were arrested.  Vinh Thanh Nguyen (47) of Brampton is one of the four men.

Caledon - On Thursday July 10, 2008, Caledon OPP responded to a medical assist call at a residence on Mayfield Road just west of Dixie Road in Caledon. A post-mortem examination has revealed that the cause of death was due to a heart condition.  No foul play is suspected.
