Brampton - Dimple Dalal from Turner Fenton Secondary School in Brampton earned a 100 per cent average, the highest academic average within the Peel District School Board for the 2009-10 academic year. Dalal is among the Peel board's 3,629 Ontario scholars, students graduating grade 12 with an average of 80 per cent or higher in their top six grade 12 courses.

Brampton - More than 900 Roberta Bondar Public School students and staff will be learning outdoors on June 25, as the school participates in Outdoors While Learning Day (OWL), a new initiative that involves Roberta Bondar Public School, Peel board field centres and numerous community partners, including Brampton Parks and Recreation, Credit Valley Conservation, the Region of Peel, Toronto and Region Conservation Authority, and Tutored by Nature.
