Brampton - Recognizing the importance of supporting a child's thirst for knowledge, Operation Freeze 2013 is a partnership with Mac's Convenience Stores encouraging kids to learn that "doing the right thing" is also the "cool thing to do".
Brampton - Investigators from the Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau have made an arrest in relation to a 2012 homicide of a 22 year-old Brampton female.
Brampton - Police Chief Jennifer Evans addressed the community today in relation to the tragic circumstances that took the life of 9 year old Kesean Williams. She assured the community that her officers, “will work tirelessly in order to identify and apprehend the person, or persons, responsible for Kesean’s death.”
Brampton - Officers from the Homicide Bureau are currently investigating a late night shooting, which left a 9 year-old Brampton child dead. This is the Region’s third homicide for 2013.
Brampton - Investigators with the Peel Regional Police Street Crime Gang Unit executed a search warrant that resulted in the seizure of firearms, firearm accessories, and drugs.
Peel - On Wednesday, January 9, 2013, at 2:00 p.m., twenty-nine (29) Peel Regional Police recruits will be sworn in as Constables by the Honourable Justice Ian Cowan. The ceremony will be held at the Emil V. Kolb Centre, located at 180 Derry Road East, Mississauga.
Brampton - Peel Regional Police have officially launched the 20th Annual Toys for Tots Campaign and have designated several drop-off locations within the region.
