Brampton Youth Hockey is Ontario's largest single community based non-profit hockey organization with a membership of approximately 4,000. BYHA provides program beginning with our 5 year old players in our HockeySchool / Mini Trooper program which progress into our Recreational House League Hockey program which begins at the Novice Division and continue through to the Juvenile Division. BYHA also provides through our Intra-City Hockey program (Novice - Midget). BYHA has in place "AAA", "AA", and "A" (Minor Novice - Juvenile) Representative team program as well. BYHA through its Hockey Development Program provides clinics for the players through its Goalie School and Power Skating/Body Contract. As well, we hold clinics for our coaches and have a vast library available for all of our coaching staffs to draw upon.
Brampton - The Brampton Youth Hockey Association held its Annual General Meeting on April 22 and Glenn McIntyre is the Association's new President.Elections were held for 13 positions on the BYHA Board of Directors.
Brampton - The 2009 Canada Sportswear Brampton Youth Hockey Association Weekend of Champions will be played at Brampton Memorial Arena from March 27 to 30. Admission is FREE.
Brampton - The Brampton Youth Hockey Association will be hosting its 4th Annual Golf Tournament on Sunday, September 7 at Castlemore Golf and Country Club.
Brampton - Tryouts for the Brampton Youth Hockey Association Midget Intra City teams will start on Tuesday, September 4 at South Fletchers. Tryouts will continue on Thursday, September 6 and conclude on Saturday, September 8.
Brampton - The Brampton Youth Hockey Association will be holding its 3rd Annual Golf Tournament on Wednesday, August 29 at Castlemore Golf and Country Club. Registration starts at 11:30 am and the tournament will begin with a 1:00 pm shotgun start.
Brampton - Two graduates of the Brampton Youth Hockey Association's Minor Midget AAA team have advanced to the next stage of the selection process of the group of players that will make up the 2007 Under 17 Team Ontario - Peter Holland and Tyler Randell.
Brampton - The Brampton Youth Hockey Association will bring its 2006 -2007 season to a close this weekend with the 2007 BYHA Weekend of Champions. The event will see winners crowned in 19 divisions from the BYHA's Recreational League and Intra City League
Brampton - The Ontario Minor Hockey Association is holding a FUNFest for players below the Novice age level on Sunday, April 15 at the PowerAde Centre. Players can register individually and Mini Trooper teams are welcome to register as a team. There is no charge to participate in this event.
Brampton - The Brampton Youth Hockey Association will play host to the SCTA's ten Minor Midget AAA teams March 9, 10 and 11 with two spots in the Ontario Minor Hockey Association Minor Midget AAA final up for grabs.
