Bramalea Lions Club
Bramalea Lions Club was chartered in 1962, the club became a major player in community events almost from inception.  Youth activities and sporting events (hockey, baseball, soccer, etc.) remain one of the clubs active roles.  Through the Health and Welfare Committee and the Education Committee, assistance has been provided to groups and individuals over the years.  As times change, our focus on various activities change to match, and nothing reflects this more than in the recent years where we became a sponsor for the Air Canada Dreams Take Flight program. To date; we have sent 54 deserving children to experience a "Dream Come True".  Visit our website for more information: http://www.bramalealions.com/

Brampton - For our 12th consecutive year, The Lions Club of Bramalea will be participating in the "Dreams Take Flight" program where children from underprivileged homes are whisked to Disney World for a day filled with excitement! Join us on Saturday, November 4, 2006.

Brampton - For our 12th consecutive year, The Lions Club of Bramalea will be participating in the "Dreams Take Flight" program begun by Air Canada 17 years ago.  This is a program where children from underprivileged homes are whisked to Disney World for a day filled with excitement and wonder!  Our Club has sent 54 children over the past 12 years, and it is something of which we are very proud.

To raise the money necessary to send the kids and chaperones we hold a yearly "Fun Casino Night & Auction". Businesses in our community have generously supported our program by donating products and/or services for the event, this year to be held November 4, at the Bramalea Lions Hall at 45 Avondale Blvd.Cost is $15 per person. A light lunch is served, and a cash bar is available.Doors open @ 7PM.

Using "funny money" (given to each guest), participants may play the blackjack tables, crown and anchor wheels, etc., and cash in their winnings to obtain tickets for an array of draw prizes.  For those new to gambling we have professional dealers to help you learn. There is also a "silent auction" for another array of prizes, followed towards the end of the evening with a live auction on bigger ticket items donated for this purpose.

Many of our guests are long-time participants who tell us that they look forward to the evening from one year to the next!  The main reason, of course, for holding the event is to support our 'special' children.  But secondarily, the Lions and their patrons just have a lot of fun.We hope you will join us.

This year we are limiting the tickets to 160 only.  If you would like a ticket please call Gary @ 905-452-6410.
