Peel - Christmas is coming and that means the Toys for Tots Campaign is up and running again!

Peel Regional Police, Canadian Tire and the Salvation Army have partnered up once again to support this most worthy cause. No kid should be without a Christmas. Cash donations, new unwrapped toys and Canadian Tire money are being accepted at all of our stand locations. Please help to make Christmas brighter for the less fortunate kids in Peel Region.

Check out our events schedule for a list of functions open to the public.

The Peel Regional Police Toys for Tots team spearheads the fundraising campaign by coordinating launches, organizing events and providing thousands of volunteer hours. All of the Brampton and Mississauga Canadian Tire stores generously provide space in their stores for donation stands to be manned by volunteering officers and support staff. The Salvation Army then identifies the families requiring assistance from the Toys for Tots program and distributes the toys to these families.

The Salvation Army has released the following statistics for last years Toys for Tots campaign:

Total # of families assisted:

Total # of children assisted:

Donations Collected:

Canadian Tire money

Toy donations

The Toys for Tots campaign continues to grow each year and greatly relies upon the support of not only the community, but also the dedication of hundreds of Peel Regional Police personnel who volunteer their time. In order to help make this campaign a success, our members assist with counting Canadian Tire money, picking up toy donations, attending various fundraising events, purchasing toys and collecting donations at the Canadian Tire stores.

We greatly appreciate the time that members of the organization have taken away from their families during this festive season. It is this unselfish act of caring that ensures many less fortunate families also enjoy the holidays. In total we had 408 Peel Regional Police members who volunteered well over 2000 hours during the course of last years campaign!
