Brampton - Colleen Beaumier, MP Brampton West, traveled with a group of 111 seniors by bus to Ottawa on October 3 for a guided tour of Parliament Hill.

Many of the seniors were very inquisitive to know more and more about the history of the Parliament Buildings, the library and the seating arrangement in the House of Commons.  "It was a wonderful excursion for all of us," said one of the senior visitors.  "The Parliament staff was knowledgeable, listened to our questions and answered all our questions," said another senior.

The group was very thankful to Ms. Beaumier for organizing trip.  The seniors met a lot of new people and made some new friends along the way.  They also gained more knowledge about the Canadian Parliament.
