In the six years since his own surgery for prostate cancer, Ian Smith has to my knowledge dedicated himself to increasing public awareness of this disease. He speaks out on issues about the need for men to have regular physical examinations. He organized and sponsored two Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) clinics at local malls without charge to qualified participants. He has also initiated spontaneous conversations with men at various locations about the importance of PSA testing to name but two examples

I recieved this article from a dear friend, and when I saw your picture I said to myself what a small world. This is the gentleman I see in church every Sunday. As a matter of fact I sit right behind him. I would definitely attend the next clinic. Good citizen.
