Settlement Workshop Focuses on Canadian Workplace Culture

Brampton Library is hosting a free settlement workshop to help newcomers to Canada become acquainted with Canadian culture.

The Canadian Workplace Culture for Newcomers program will offer several skills to help newcomers deal with the cultural differences between Canadian practices and practices of their home country. Topics covered will be greetings, punctuality, body language, teamwork and relationships in the workplace. The aim of the workshop is to make transition easier and help participants adapt more successfully in their workplace.

This informative program will be held at the Chinguacousy Branch located at 150

Central Park Drive on Tuesday, September 19 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Anyone who is interested in attending can register by phone by calling (905) 793-4636, or in person at any Library location.
