Brampton - The City of Brampton will induct five new members into its Sports Hall of Fame on May 13 at the Rose Theatre Brampton.
 “Athletes” category inductees:
o Jamie Storr (Hockey)
o Dan Teat (Lacrosse)
 “Builders” category inductees:
o Dewith Frazer (Boxing)
o Herbert Phillips (posthumously; Lacrosse)
 “Veterans” category inductee:
o Bert Naylor (Lacrosse)
The Sports Hall of Fame event begins with a cocktail dinner reception at 6 pm. Tickets are $40 per person and can be purchased prior to the event at the Rose Theatre Box Office at 905.874.2800, starting March 10.
The Brampton Sports Hall of Fame was founded in 1979 by a group of dedicated sport enthusiasts, in conjunction with the City’s Recreation and Culture Division. The Hall of Fame is located in the Powerade Centre on Kennedy Road, south of Steeles Avenue. Individuals interested in becoming a Hall of Fame Member should contact Supa D.A.
