FREE WITH ADMISSION

· General Tours

Every Thursday night at 7 p.m.

Free with admission

Each Thursday night a PAMA staff member will lead you on a half hour tour of a selected exhibition, highlighting key points, artifacts, and/or pieces. All tours meet in the Art Gallery lobby. Check the General Tour schedule online at pama.peelregion.ca.

· Drop In Family Activities

Saturdays and Sundays 1 – 5 p.m.

Free with admission

Join us for fun family activities inspired by our exhibitions. Each week families can make and take home easy projects for all ages.

REGISTERED ADULT PROGRAMS

· Learn Your “-ISMs”

Oct. 3 – 24 (4 sessions)

Thursdays from 7 – 9 p.m.

Fee: $60 (Non-members); $54 (Members)

If you ever wanted to know the difference between a Matisse and a Monet, wondered what “pointillism” is or are completely mystified by modern art, this introductory class is for you! In this four week course, participants will learn about early 20th century art – from Impressionism to Expressionism and Surrealism to Dadaism, this course provides a sampling of all the “-ISMs” of the time period.  

· Adult Art Sampler

Oct. 7 – Oct. 28 (4 sessions)

Tuesdays from 10 a.m. – Noon

Fee: $60 (Non-members); $54 (Members)

Participants dabble in the world of modern art! Learn colour theory through pointillism, collage, Pop Art printmaking and how abstract art conveys mood, just to name a few!

· Research Your House

Saturday, Oct.19, from 10 a.m. – Noon

Fee: $60 (Non-members); $54 (Members) 

One of the most requested services in PAMA’s Archives is assistance in learning about a specific property, most notably, one’s private dwelling. In this introductory course, participants will learn the basics of researching a specific property within the Region of Peel.  If you are interested to start investigating a certain building, this session will help steer you in the right direction.             

REGISTERED CHILDREN’S PROGRAMS

· Culture Club

Oct. 5 – 26 (4 weeks)

Saturdays, from 10 a.m. – Noon

Fee: $60/per child (Non-members); $54/ per child (Members)

In PAMA’s Culture Club, children delve into the art and history of a different culture each week. Children will explore our art `and museum galleries and draw inspiration from our fall exhibitions, including abstract art and We Are Here; our new Aboriginal gallery.

· BREAK-Out! PA Days at PAMA

Friday, Oct. 11, from 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Before and after child care available from 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Fee: $35/ per child (Non-members); $31.50/per child (Members)

Learn about figure drawing and painting with inspiration from works in our Permanent Collection gallery and current exhibitions in the main gallery.
