 Brampton - For the Mississauga and Brampton waste collection days from July 29 to August 1, the Region of Peel will continue to waive the Two Bag Standard. Community Recycling Centre (CRC) tipping fees, for residents who were affected by the July 8, storm will be waived until August 6.

 As of August 6, the Two Bag Standard will resume Region-wide. Residents who require collection of flood-related waste from August 6 onwards, must call the Region as soon as possible, at 905-791-9499 and submit a request for collection.  All requests for flood-related collection must be approved by Regional staff. Please be aware that for the week of August 5, holiday collection schedules still apply.

 Residents are reminded that proper waste set-out guidelines must be followed, including, but not limited to:

 ·      bags, containers and bundles must not weigh more than 20 kg (44 lbs)

·      carpet, underlay and padding must be tied in bundles no larger than 1.2 metres (4 feet) in length and 76 centimetres (2.5 feet) in width

·      construction/renovation material, including such items from restoration/repairing efforts for residential flood-related damage, will not be collected

 Please visit or check your Waste Management Guide for a complete listing of proper waste set-out guidelines. Residents are cautioned that if waste set out at curbside does not follow Regional guidelines it will not be collected.
