Brampton - Gather your family and neighbours to kick off summer on Saturday, June 15 at CeleBRAMPTON – a day of live entertainment, free food, family fun, and the annual Flower City Parade as the grand finale.

“For 2013, Brampton Day and the Flower City Parade – two celebrated community events – have been combined to create CeleBRAMPTON," Brampton Mayor Susan Fennell said. "The first-ever CeleBRAMPTON will showcase our world-class city, services and amenities. I invite all Bramptonians, and residents from across the GTHA, to join us for these memorable festivities and see why Brampton is such an incredible community to visit, and to call home.”

CeleBRAMPTON runs from 11 am to 4 pm in downtown Brampton. Mayor Fennell will bring official greetings to Garden Square at noon. See the public unveiling of the second downtown public art piece at 12:30 pm in the Nelson Square parking lot and finish the day watching the Flower City Parade at 3 pm.

CeleBRAMPTON revelers can ride transit for a loonie on June 15 (cash fare only). This $1 fare does not apply with the use of the Presto Card. Donations of non-perishable food items will be accepted at stations throughout the event.
