Brampton - In celebration of South Asian Heritage Month, Brampton Library is displaying exhibits of the Legend of Ponnivala: An Epic Tale of Medieval South India, which draws it inspiration and characters from the great Indian epic, the Mahabharata. The display is up at Gore Meadows branch from May 13 – 25th.

Join us on Saturday, May 25th where you can meet the creator and producer of the Legend of Ponnivala as well there will be games and activities for children. Learn about one of South India’s most amazing oral traditions.

Saturday May 25

Gore Meadows Branch: 10:00am – noon

Chinguacousy: 2:00 – 4:00pm
