Brampton - The community will play an important role in deciding how the Region should plan and manage housing and homelessness services in Peel.
Residents, clients, businesses, and community agencies are encouraged to provide input on housing and homelessness in Peel. The Region of Peel is also providing tools for community groups to host their own sessions.
“Peel’s Housing and Homelessness Plan is a long-term collaborative effort with our community,” said Janet Menard, Commissioner of Human Services for the Region of Peel, “and supports our client-centred approach to community and service planning.”
To support the community, the Region has released the “We Heard Report,” a short summary that frames the discussion on housing and homelessness that has evolved over the years, and asks people to respond to questions on:
• Information and Data Sharing
• Support Services
• Financial Supports
• Housing Stock
