Brampton - The City of Brampton’s Economic Development Office is the proud recipient of two awards at the 56th annual Economic Developers Council of Ontario’s (EDCO) conference held on February 7 in London, Ontario.
Honourable mention: Product Development - Research Report “Brampton's Creative Economy Research Brief"
“These awards are testament to the professionalism and expertise of our City staff. They also demonstrate that we are committed to fostering the creative economy and maintaining a sustainable economic development plan for Brampton,” said Regional Councillor Gael Miles, Chair of the Brampton Attraction Retention Advisory Committee.
EDCO is an independent, non-profit association of persons engaged in the economic development of Ontario and its communities. The Council was founded in 1957 and boasts a membership of more than 600 economic development practitioners. EDCO offers this awards program as well as professional development opportunities throughout the year.
