Brampton - Today, William Osler Health System is holding its 27th annual Long Service Awards event and will honor 578 long service employees that are marking important employment milestones ranging from 5 to 40 years of service with the organization.
Two honorees are marking 40 years with the organization, Dr Edward Rzadki, a psychiatrist on the Etobicoke General Hospital‟s Psychiatry unit and Louise Soares, Clerical Associate in the Diagnostic Cardiology Unit at Brampton Civic Hospital. Twenty-two honorees are marking 35 years of service and 50 are marking 30 years of service.
“There is a tremendous amount of history and experience that our staff can call on from peers and colleagues such as those we are honoring today,” states Matthew Anderson, President and CEO, William Osler Health System. “It is a significant tribute to all our staff that so many of the people in our hospitals have been with us a long time.”

William Osler Health System has over 4300 employees, over 700 physicians and 1100 volunteers at its two operating sites – Brampton Civic Hospital and Etobicoke General Hospital. Peel Memorial is currently in redevelopment and expected to open in 2015.
