Brampton - A new year presents another opportunity for local artistic talent to shine. This year’s Art in the Open runs from June 18th to October 8th, 2011 every Saturday from 7 am to 1 pm.

The Brampton Arts Council is gearing up for a busy season and looking forward to seeing friends, members, colleagues and much more on the Garden Square.

For those of you who haven’t yet been down, we are at the North East corner of Main and Queen, in front of the Rose Theatre.

Invited by Brampton’s Economic Development Office in 2000, the Brampton Arts Council joined the Farmers’ Market originally as Artists’ Alley. Twelve years later we’ve gotten bigger and better!

Contributing to an authentic cultural Brampton experience, Art in the Open looks to create an opportunity for those to sell original, handmade goods from jewellery to paper creations. Show your support for Art in the Open by attending the event and don’t forget to find us by spotting our flag. We’ll be out there no matter the weather!
