Brampton - The Canadian Cancer Society will be hosting a charity event from Saturday August 7th to Sunday August 8th at Creditview Park in Brampton. Volunteers for this event are currently needed to fill a variety of different positions, including management of registration, food and tickets, as well as volunteers to be cheerleaders and runners.

Position: Event Day Volunteer

When: Saturday August 7th, 2010 10am - 6pm and/or Sunday August 8th, 2010 12pm - 5pm

Where: Creditview Park, Brampton, Ontario

Description: Volunteers for this event are currently needed to fill a variety of different positions, including management of registration, food and tickets, as well as volunteers to be cheerleaders and runners. Volunteers for this event must be reliable, responsible and willing to learn.

The Canadian Cancer Society is a national, community-based organization of volunteers, whose mission is the eradication of cancer and the enhancement of the quality of life of people living with cancer. The Canadian Cancer Society achieves its mission through research, education, patient services and advocacy for healthy public policy. These efforts are supported by volunteers and staff and funds raised in communities across Canada.
