Brampton -You’ll Get Used To It! The War Show, directed by Danny Harvey with musical direction by Myron de Souza, is often described as “not your typical musical.” You’ll laugh, you’ll cry as this show perfectly captures the spirit of the Second World War. A moving and unexpectedly humorous look at a momentous time in Canadian history, told through the eyes of the soldiers who served. Writer Peter Colley’s mix of music, dance, drama, and comedy will be an emotional journey, while keeping your spirits up with very funny moments.
The cast includes many favourites from past Rose Theatre Summer Seasons; Scott Carmichael (Dusty), Jay Davis (JP), Maeve Hildebrand (Kid), Mark Llewellyn (Sarge), Sweeney MacArthur (Pops), Jamie McRoberts (Girl), Nancy Silverman (Girl), Kraig Waye (Sharkey) and a debut performance from Jeffrey Sanders (Dud).
