Brampton - Brampton City Hall will be closed on Monday, August 2 for Civic Holiday, affecting a number of services that will either be unavailable or will operate under reduced service levels.
Along with City Hall, the Small Business Enterprise Centre and the City’s Parks and Recreation Office will be closed. Residents will not be able to apply in person for marriage licences, pay parking fines, apply for employment with the City of Brampton or apply for building permits during this time. Several services will continue to operate at regular levels including: Fire and Emergency Services, City of Brampton works yards and By-law Enforcement. Most recreation facilities are open over the holiday. Please phone your local recreation centre to confirm the program schedule.

Transit Service
Brampton Transit will provide Sunday/Holiday service on Monday, August 2, which will include the Route 66 Express Service to Canada’s Wonderland. However, the administration office and all Transit stores will be closed. Brampton Transit’s Civic Holiday Weekend Service will be as follows:
• Friday, July 30: Regular Weekday Service
• Saturday, July 31: Regular Saturday Service
• Sunday, August 1: Regular Sunday Service
• Monday, August 2: Sunday/Holiday Service

Family Fun at Chinguacousy Park
Chinguacousy Park is hosting a fun family weekend that includes carnival rides, face painting and other activities. The fun takes place on July 31 and August 1 from 10 am to 10 pm and on August 2 from 10 am to 8 pm.

Fireworks Safety
There are no City of Brampton hosted fireworks displays on Civic Holiday.
