In support of Wellspring Chinguacousy Cancer Support Centre

Brampton - A sizzling summer business networking opportunity is coming to Brampton for those looking to make new connections. Business owners and entrepreneurs are invited to attend The Power Networking Group Summer Social. The event will take place at Wellspring Chinguacousy Cancer Support Centre, located at 5 Inspiration Way, Father Tobin and Torbram Rd. in Brampton.

The Summer Social lunch meeting will be on Thursday, July 29th from 11:00 a.m. until 1:15 p.m. Mix, mingle and network in an informal patio setting, then join us for lunch and refreshments in relaxed air conditioned comfort. Each networker may display business cards and brochures as well as deliver a one minute infomercial. Tickets cost $22.00 (with advance registration). A portion of the luncheon proceeds will be donated to help to support Wellspring programs. Tax receipts will be available upon request.

The Power Networking Group was founded in 2002 by Mississauga business woman and mortgage professional Angela Wong-Liao. Each month she hosts an energetic networking lunch meeting which regularly draws an eclectic mix of entrepreneurs and business owners from across the entire GTA.

Wong-Liao is a strong believer that part of the responsibility as a Business Professional Networking Group is to give back to the community.  "I'm so proud of how popular and successful The Power Networking Group has become and remained in its 8 years", says Wong-Liao, "I am especially proud of both the core attendees who have supported this group for so long and the new faces we attract each month".

Wellspring Chinguacousy Cancer Support Centre is one of seven centres in Ontario that provide emotional, psychological and informational support, in a home like setting, to individuals and families living with cancer.  Wellspring receives no core funding from government or other sources and therefore relies entirely on donations in order to offer cancer support programs free of charge. For information about Wellspring's programs and services visit Free tours of the facility will be available on the day of The Power Networking Group Summer Social.
