"Oh, Canada, Eh!"

Brampton - The City of Brampton Concert Band's takes to the open air with "Oh Canada, Eh!" at the Investor's Group Gage Park Thursday Night Concert Series evening concert on June 17, 2010, starting at 7:00 pm.

Canada Day is approaching soon and we felt we may as well get a head start in celebrating our country's birthday with a bit of "Oh Canada, Eh" - an evening of music with a distinctly Canadian flavour."Bossa for Brampton", "Ontario Place Theme", trumpet feature "Roller Coaster" composed by Canadian trumpet great Johnny Cowell and other music with ties to our great nation will be on the eclectic program for the night.Sitting under the trees at GagePark in beautiful downtown Brampton and listening to some entertaining music is a wonderful way to enjoy a summer evening. We hope to see you there!

If you can't make this concert, do not worry.Having just come off an award-winning night at the 2010 Bravo Awards winning in three categories, including "Adjudicator's Choice" and "Best Concert Series", we look forward to presenting an entertaining set of summer performances for the public.Look for upcoming announcements for our other concerts as part of the Investor's Group Gage Park Concert Series, or perhaps we will see you at other summer events such as the Flower City Parade, Carabram and the Farmer's Market.
