Brampton - As Peel Heritage Complex (PHC) closes its doors for an exciting restoration and construction project, it will re-launch its website so visitors can 'virtually' visit the Region of Peel's Museum, Archives and Art Gallery.

Starting March 1, 2010, visitors to can learn about PHC's outreach programs, see drawings of the new space, and view expansion updates.

"Our community will be able to stay connected with Peel's art, culture and history even though the physical building is closed to the public," said Diane Allengame, Acting Manager, PHC. "Our website will transform alongside the renovation of the PHC – we're looking forward to sharing our progress as we make history."

The site will expand to include a photo gallery of the construction progress, an exhibit schedule for 2011, and more. PHC staff are consulting community groups on the development of upcoming exhibitions and events in 2011 and beyond.  If you would like to be involved in the community consultation process, please contact Josie Premzell at 905-791-4055, ext. 3625 or
