Brampton - Investigators from the Major Collision Bureau are appealing for witnesses to a single car motor vehicle collision, which has left a 33 year-old Brampton man with serious injuries.

On Monday, January 18, 2010, at approximately 9:35 p.m., the victim was operating a 2006 grey Honda Civic, northbound on McLaughlin Road near Bufford Road. For reasons still under investigation, the vehicle left the roadway, mounted the curb and struck a tree.

The driver of the vehicle was transported to a Toronto trauma centre, where he is listed in critical condition. 

There were no other occupants in the vehicle.
