Brampton - Looking for unique holiday gifts? Visit Made by Hand – the annual fine art and craft sale at the Peel Heritage Complex. Over 25 local artists will showcase their distinctive wares from Nov. 19 through Dec. 31.

"Our local art community is wonderfully diverse and talented," says Josie Premzell, Development Officer, Peel Heritage Complex. "Made by Hand presents the opportunity to purchase a one-of-a-kind piece – great for a holiday gift or a host thanks."

This year, Made by Hand features jewellery, cards, hand-knit items, pottery, glass pieces, photography, paintings and more.

"There's something for everyone on your list – it really is a one-stop-shop for all your holiday needs," adds Josie.

The PHC consists of the Region of Peel Museum, the Art Gallery of Peel and the Region of Peel Archives. Together they collect, preserve and display a variety of materials related to Peel's heritage.

The PHC is operated by the Region of Peel and is located at 9 Wellington St., E. in Brampton. The PHC is open to the public Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; weekends from noon to 4:30 p.m., and Thursday evenings from 6 to 9 p.m. Admission fees are $2.50 for adults; $1.50 for seniors; $1 for students and $7 for families. Take advantage of free admission to the PHC over the holidays, from Dec. 27 to Dec. 31.
