An Invitation to
Brampton Employers
to Provide Opportunities
for High School Students

Employers can help the next generation of employees make the transition from school to the workplace. Schools are back in session and teachers are actively seeking employers willing to offer co-op placements (unpaid), career talks, workplace tours, and other experiences that can help high school students learn about the world of work. There is interest in connecting with a wide range of businesses, industries, and organizations across all employment sectors and specialty areas.

If interested, please contact Art Mayer of The Learning Partnership, a national organization working to promote public education through a variety of projects. Art has contacts with both the Peel District School Board and the Dufferin Peel Catholic District School Board. He can provide additional information and will help employers register on www.employerregistry.ca, a website accessed by teachers in both school boards. If interested, contact Art at amayer@thelearningpartnership.ca.
