Brampton - Fans of the Brampton Battalion can see 65 of 68 regular-season games in 2009-10 on Rogers Community Television, the Ontario Hockey League club announced Tuesday.

In addition to all 34 home games, Rogers is to show 31 road games and three exhibition games. The only road games not available are single visits to the Erie Otters, Plymouth Whalers and Saginaw Spirit. All games are scheduled to be shown live.

Games will originate from broadcasts produced by Rogers, Cogeco, Shaw and EastLink, which bought the Persona cable system. It previously showed select Sudbury Wolves games in their home market.

"It was only a few years ago that we were pleased to announce that Battalion fans could watch half of our 68 regular-season games on Rogers TV," said club president Mike Griffin. "But at the time we could not imagine that the television partnerships around the OHL would develop as quickly as they have.

"Rogers TV in Brampton, Caledon and Orangeville is our most important marketing vehicle, and we're grateful that our relationship with Rogers TV allows us to reach and grow our audience in those communities."

Griffin said Rogers TV is committed to programming that features Battalion players in the community and plans to introduce a number of repeat telecasts dubbed in Punjabi to increase the club's ability to reach Brampton's largest demographic group.

Following is the 2009-10 Battalion schedule on Rogers Community Television, with road games in capitals:
