Brampton – Peel Regional Police homicide detectives have made two arrests in the shooting death of a 15 year-old Brampton youth.
On Friday, June 19, 2009, sometime before 9:00 p.m., Baden Jeffrey WILLCOCKS was at a house party in the Bramalea area of Brampton, when one of his friends received a phone call. Baden and his friends then attended a catwalk near Earnscliffe Public School where they met with four male suspects.
At short time later, a firearm was produced and an altercation ensued, which resulted in Baden being shot. He was rushed to a local hospital, where he was pronounced deceased less than an hour later.
At present, two 17 year-old male suspects have been arrested. The suspects, who cannot be identified under the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act, will appear in a Brampton Court on Sunday, June 21, 2009, at 9:00 a.m. They will be charged with one count each of Second Degree Murder.
Investigators are actively searching for two other suspects involved in this homicide. Their parents and/or guardians are urged to contact a lawyer and surrender to police.
