Monday, July 31, is the deadline for exchanging old Brampton Transit tickets.

In January of this year, Brampton Transit introduced a new style of tickets and passes with new security features to coincide with a fare increase. From January to April 30, Brampton Transit accepted both new and old style of tickets as valid fare payment.

From May 1 to July 31 only new tickets were accepted for traveling although customers could pay the $1 top-up and exchange old style sheets of tickets at Brampton Transit Headquarters and Terminals. The exchange program will take place until end of day Monday, July 31, after that the old tickets will not be accepted.

This article is very informative. The only extra information that I would like is the actual cost of tickets and the cash fare. I am looking forward to moving to Brampton in the near future.
