Name = Youth Exchange - Centre for Education and Training

Description = What is the Youth Exchange Program?

The Centre for Education & Training is coordinating a project funded by Citizenship & Immigration Canada called "The Youth Exchange" program to assist newcomer youth during the first to three years of their arrival in Peel/Halton Region between the ages of 13 – 24 years of age.

This is an opportunity for youth who are new to Canada to plan and attend special events and activities for youth in the community! Many volunteer opportunities are available.

Title = Special Event Volunteer

Job Description =
- Help with the planning of special events in the community
- Design event posters and flyers
- Assist in the running of special events (set-up, clean-up, greeting, directing guests, etc)

Skills = Reliability

Skills to Learn =
- Leadership
- Communication
- Research Skills
- Event Management

Time = Minimum of 5 hrs

Location = Brampton and Mississauga
