Peel - The crime prevention experts at Peel Regional Police are proud to offer a new program for the residents of Peel. The CyberAcademy's purpose is to educate parents, teachers and other professionals about the risks of identity theft, on-line luring and other related topics. Entry is free of charge, but space is limited to forty seats only. Seating will be on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Lecture topics will include:

Technological Crime; wireless routers, the latest technological developments, emerging trends and risks.

Child Exploitation; child pornography, on-line luring, social networking, cyberdating.

"Unlocking the Secrets" cyber-fraud; how identities are stolen.

"Do You Know Where Your Children Are?" can you trust the internet? How cyber- paedophiles target, identify and track young victims on-line.
