Brampton - The City of Brampton Concert Band, along with Musical Director Darryl Eaton, invites you to our Halloween prelude filled with Monsters, Mythical Characters and Creatures and a smattering of Suspenseful Stories.We will weave an evening of musical intrigue and tales sure to set you into the right mood for Halloween.And why not come dressed in your Halloween costume at the concert and enter our contest?Kids and adults are all invited to participate and prizes will be awarded for the best costume!!
From "JurassicPark" to "Music in a Darkened Theatre", you'll be drinking from the "Goblet of Fire", with a "Black Magic Woman" from "Celtic Rituals" in this 2008 "Fantasia".We will get down, dirty and "Wicked" and the "Masters of the House" will rise from the depths to join the "Fellowship of the Ring" and tell the true story of the "Cape Fear Chronicles".So come take part in a bit of pre-Halloween fun, with our spooky - but not too scary- evening that has something for the whole family to enjoy.
On Sunday, November 30th, 2008 at 8:00 p.m., the Jazz Mechanics present their musical tribute to "The Music of The LaBarberas" featuring world-class saxophonist Pat Labarbera.Future concerts in this year's series include "Christmas at The Rose", featuring The Mayfield Singers on Saturday, December 6th, 2008 and "BCB Idol" on Saturday, February 28th, 2009.
Tickets for all concerts may be purchased at the RoseTheatre or Lester B. Pearson box offices or by calling 905‑874-2800. Ticket prices are $20 for Adults, $18 for Seniors and Students and $10 for Children 12 and under.Take advantage of our subscription pricing if you choose three ($55, $50 and $25) or all four concerts ($65, $55 and $30).
