Brampton - Peel Plice are making an appeal for witnesses to a daytime collision to come forward.  The collision took place on July 16, 2008, at approximately 3:30 p.m., at the intersection of Bovaird Drive and Airport Road.  The victim, Gilbert Parcell, 85 years old from Wasaga Beach, succumbed to his injuries on July 18, 2008.

Brampton - Investigators from the Peel Regional Police Major Collision Bureau are making an appeal for witnesses to a daytime collision to come forward.

On Wednesday, July 16, 2008, at approximately 3:30 p.m., the victim, an 85 year old man, was operating his Grey, Toyota Corolla, northbound on Airport Road.

While crossing the intersection at Bovaird Drive, the victim's vehicle veered into the adjoining lane and sideswiped a second vehicle. This resulted in a chain reaction collision involving a total of four vehicles, all sustaining minor damage.  

Shortly after the collision, the victim was transported to a local hospital complaining of a headache. The victim's condition quickly deteriorated and he succumbed to his injuries on Thursday, July 18, 2008.

The victim, Gilbert PARCELL, was 85 years of age and a resident of WasagaBeach.

No charges will be laid in this investigation.
