APPS Transport Group pledges $25,000 to
William Osler Health Centre Foundation
Brampton - Brampton-based trucking firm APPS Transport Group recently announced today a $25,000 pledge to William Osler Health Centre Foundation.
APPS is building on their commitment to positively impact those whose lives they touch.The company has a long history of community involvement and provides in-kind services to several community-based organizations. According to APPS President, Rob McDonald, "Supporting Brampton Civic Hospital makes sense from a local standpoint and certainly illustrates the heart of the APPS team."
William Osler Health Centre Foundation has been the beneficiary of the generosity of the APPS Transport Group in recent years. Included in that is the corporation's support of the annual "Kick Cancer" 24-hour soccer game since it's inception in 2006. Apps pledge to support Brampton Civic Hospital's Here for you… caring for you Community Campaign will be publicly recognized later this year with a plaque on a treatment room within the emergency department at Brampton Civic Hospital.
Other efforts by the APPS team to improve the health of our community include adding smog-free trucks to their fleet and employing an on-site personal trainer for their staff.
