Brampton - The City of Brampton Concert Band invites the citizens of Brampton to join us in our Community Appreciation BBQ and Concert as part of the Investor's Group Thursday Night Concert Series, under the magnificent trees of glorious Gage Park on Thursday June 12, 2008.

We are proud of our accomplishments over the last several years, both musically and organisationally, achieving success at musical competitions and festivals, representing Brampton locally and abroad, and supporting both up-and-coming and established Canadian musicians and composers.

We recognise that this would not have been possible without the support of the citizens and broader community, along with Mayor Susan Fennell and Members of Council. To express our appreciation, we welcome all to a musical evening at Gage Park with complimentary barbecue (and refreshments). Members of the band will be pleased to serve you as a gesture of their gratitude for your continuing support. The musical selections will trace the journey from our first regional competitions at MusicFest, to our national competitions in Calgary and Halifax, and to our international performances representing Brampton throughout Europe in Austria, Switzerland, Italy and Ireland. The evening's musical selections will highlight each of our stops on this musical journey interspersed with interesting anecdotes of events that arose along the way!!

Gage Park is a beautiful setting on a summer's evening to listen to live musical performances and we hope to see you there to take part in what will surely be an enjoyable night!!

Enjoy a complimentary BBQ with food and refreshments provided by Inzola Construction.We will offer the musical entertainment.You need only bring your lawn chairs!
