Brampton - Come celebrate International Trail Day and enjoy a walk with new and old friends through the West Humber River Valley where Spring flowers and budding trees will intermingle with the area's unique history. If we are lucky, we may even see the deer that roam freely on the land. The walk is about 4 kms long (2.5 miles) over hill and dale, to the Wiley Bowstring Heritage Bridge, and back.
The hike is recommended for adults, but if you feel your children are up to it, bring them along. We will be joined by a TRCA archeologist, a historian and an experienced guide.
Don't miss it – it will be the event of the year. Sponsored by the TRCA, Ontario Heritage Trust's new 'Trails Open Ontario' program and the ACO.
