Peel - Peel Regional Police are holding their annual Police Day event on Saturday, May 10, 2008 at the Emil V. Kolb Centre for Police Excellence. This event is held to showcase the work that the men and women of our organization do to keep our region safe. It is also part of our commitment to building strong, safe communities by forging solid relationships with our citizens.
The Police Day event is open to the public and offers a number of activities and events for children of all ages. There will be displays from various police units, including Tactical & Rescue, K-9, Marine Unit, Crime Prevention, Internet Safety, Traffic Services and many more. Kids can also be fingerprinted and have fun in the PlayStation 2 Centre and SafetyVillage mini-Jeeps.
