Brampton, ON, May 6th, 2008 - A trust account in the name "Shahghasy Family" has been opened to receive donations for the children of recent stabbing victims Nazifa and Rahimullah Shahghasy.

Their son, Qaiss, 21, says he and his 19 year old sister are struggling to deal with their loss."We've lost everything, basically. Finally, it's settling in, but the last couple of days, walking in the house and not seeing them there, it's hell."

The Shahghasy's had no life or mortgage insurance, leaving the children with significant financial burden.

Both father Rahimullah and son Qaiss have been employees of the Brampton Auto Mall."We are devastated by the loss of Rahim, and our hearts go out to Qaiss through this difficult time," stated Glen Alizadeh, President of the Brampton Auto Mall."We encourage the community to follow our lead and contribute generously to the Shahghasy family trust account."

Cash donations will be accepted until Friday, June 6 at any of the following Royal Bank of Canada locations in Brampton:
