Peel - On Tuesday, April 29, 2008, at 2:00 p.m., forty-three (43) Peel Regional Police recruits will be sworn in as Constables by the Honourable Justice Thomas Dunn. The ceremony will be held at the Emil V. Kolb Centre for Police Excellence located at 180 Derry Road East, Mississauga.

The new officers have successfully completed a total of 20 weeks of training at the Ontario Police College and the Peel Regional Police Training Bureau. Members of the Police Services Board and the Honourable Justice Thomas Dunn will be in attendance. Chief H. Mike Metcalf will present the officers with their badges. 

The graduates will then be assigned to training officers at operational divisions, where they will enter the final phase of their training.
