Brampton - On Saturday, April 19, 2008, 21 Division officers participated in the Spring Clean-Up Day at a local greenbelt parkette. This bi-annual event, followed a Fall Clean-Up Day, was initiated by divisional officers several years ago, and continues to be a great success.

This spring, over forty officers and civilian staff took part in the clean up at KnightsbridgePark, including A/Deputy Chief Dan McDonald and several other officers from all ranks and their families. Volunteers worked hard to collect over 75 bags full of garbage.

The Peel Regional Police Service continues to work with the community to keep the City of Brampton safe and clean for all to enjoy. Commenting on the success of the clean-up, 21 Division uniform Inspector Deb McDonald stated; "The turnout of so many officers and their families is a testament to their commitment to the community that they serve."
