Peel Heritage Complex - Discover... Explore... Wonder... More than just well preserved buildings, it's a place where the past, present and future are linked in dynamic displays and explored through creative programming and research. Located at 9 Wellington St. E., Brampton, ON. For more information call 905-791-4055. Drawn Together explores Honey and Kho's personal approaches to making a mark or a line. Honey works with unconventional materials, combining media like cardboard, glue and staples until he gets the desired effects, while Kho uses different types of charcoal to create soft and sharp lines, and erasers to draw by removal. The nervous energy of Kho's representational drawings in contrast with the careful and controlled idiosyncrasies of Honey's abstract approach invites the viewer to reconsider conceptions of what a drawing should look like or what materials should be used.
Honey and Kho recently celebrated 18 years of marriage and have been partners for 15 years at Eye-to-Eye Design studio in Brampton. They have done several group shows, including one earlier this year at Sherway Garden's Gallery in the Garden, as well as last year's Juried Show.
