Brampton - Peel Police Investigators have located and arrested a wanted man. 

Peter QUIN, a 50 year-old Brampton resident, who was wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant for numerous criminal offences, was located and arrested on April 21, 2008.

It is alleged that QUIN became involved in an altercation with the victim on March 10, 2008, at an address in Toronto. The victim was held against her will and brought to a Brampton residence where she was assaulted.

QUIN has been charged with the following offences; Kidnapping, Forcible Confinement, Assault Cause Bodily Harm, Weapons Dangerous, Assault with a Weapon, Theft (two counts), Break and Enter, Breach of Recognizance and Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking. He is set to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on April 22nd, 2008.

The investigation is being continued by members of the 22 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau. Anyone with information is asked to contact investigators at 905-453-2121, Ext. 2233, or Peel Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-888-222-8477.
