The Region of Peel delivers a wide range of programs and services to more than one million citizens every day. This includes ambulance services, public health, long-term care, child care, waste collection, recycling and disposal, water and wastewater services, Regional road construction and maintenance, social assistance and affordable rental housing. Yard waste will be collected weekly on regularly scheduled waste collection days during April, May, June, October and November. Yard waste will be collected every other week during July, August and September.
Residents can find their summer yard waste collection schedule on page 5 of the 2008/2009 Waste Management Guide, which was delivered to households that receive curbside waste collection during the week of March 17. Residents who did not receive a guide may obtain one by calling the Region of Peel at 905-791-9499.

Stumps, soil, sod and stones can be taken to any of Peel's Community Recycling Centres (CRC) for disposal – drop-off fees apply. Refer to page 21 of your 2008/2009 Waste Management Guide for hours and the location of a CRC near you. Information is also available at http://www.peelregion.ca/pw/waste/.
