Motor Vehicle Collision Claims Two Lives

Cochrane, ON - Cochrane OPP along with Cochrane Fire/Rescue units were dispatched to Highway 11, 10 k/m west of Cochrane at 5:30 am on Sunday March 2nd 2008 to a head on collision between two transport trucks.

A transport truck was traveling east on highway 11 when it crossed into the west bound lane striking the second tractor trailer traveling west on Highway 11.

As a result of the collision, a 27-year-old male from Brampton and a 52-year-old man from British Columbia succumbed to their injuries.

OPP Technical Collision Traffic Investigation unit along with the Cochrane OPP are continuing their investigation into this collision.
