Brampton - As you do your Christmas shopping, enjoy art by students from around the community. Fridge Front Gallery, an art gallery for kids creativity, is hosting two shows of local schools, over the holiday season.

First off is Northwood Public School, part of the Brampton Centennial family of schools. Its grade 3 class will display their project "What I like about urban and what I like about rural". The exhibit will run from November 30 to December 14, 2007.

Next off are creations by the grade 7 visual art students at W.G. Davis Senior Public School. Studying colour, they will display colour wheels and their original pop can designs. It will run at Fridge Front from December 14, 2007 to January 11, 2008.

In 2008, Fridge Front's exhibitor schools include Mayfield School of the Arts and Roberta Bondar Public School, returning for their third and second showings, respectively.

Fridge Front Gallery offers free exhibits to any school in Brampton, Mississauga, or Caledon. Parents or teachers can phone or email the group, and Visual Arts Brampton will glad schedule a date for the exhibit. Other groups, such as Scouts or Guides, are also welcome to exhibit for free.

Fridge Front is part of the Artway Gallery in Shoppers World Brampton. Shoppers World is located at 499 Main Street South, on the corner of Hurontario/Highway 10 and Steeles Avenue.
