Brampton - Brampton Minor Football Association (BMFA) is pleased to announce the hiring of Ewan Walker as the Head Coach of the OVFL Varsity Bulldogs. Ewan is returning to the Bulldog fold after a seven year absence.
Ewan was with the Brampton program at its inception as the Offensive Coordinator and then Head Coach and then spent the next seven years in the Mississauga Warrior program as the assistant Offensive Coordinator and Running Back coach in the Junior Varsity division.Ewan has also helped as guest coach at Lincoln Alexander, North Park & Paul Dwyer High Schools as well as the Brampton Fall program at the peewee level. Ewan's vast coaching experience combined with his playing experience at St Mary's University (Halifax) and the Oshawa Hawkeyes winning the Atlantic Bowl twice and the Provincial championship once made Ewan the logical choice for the Brampton Football program.
Ewan is employed as a social worker with the Peel District School Board. His ability to communicate and build relationships with young people is one of the assets that Brampton Minor Football was looking for.
Brampton Minor Football Association is excited with the hiring of Ewan and his vision for the young men playing Bulldog football.
