Brampton - The Brampton Bulldogs Mytes ended this season with all the strength and determination with which they began. With continuous victories, this Myte team personified the word "team" in every sense.

On the horizon was another team with the same championship aspirations as our Mytes from Brampton; they were THE WENTWORTH PANTHERS. Evenly matched in ability - but different in coaching philosophy - Wentworth posed an urgent threat to Brampton's quest for the coveted championship. As both teams advanced through each week with relative ease, Brampton and Wentworth split their regular season series at one game apiece.

The stage was set for an epic finale between these two awesome forces of nature.

A sprinkle of courage, a dash of scheming, and two healthy scoops of determination were the ingredients used for success. The DAWGS took this formula and applied it generously in both playoff game victories. With a strong performance against the Cambridge Green Wolverines in their semi-final game, the DAWGS marched into the finals with confidence.

In the week's preparation for the confrontation against Wentworth, the mighty Mytes of Brampton were put to the test. Battling otherworldly forces of nature during the week leading up to the championship, our Boys managed to stand tall. The howling winds, the frightful temperature, the driving rain were no match for the destined team from Brampton.

And so the story goes…

Brampton finished the year the same way that they began: with quiet dignity. The championship game - like most others - was filled with plenty of anxious moments; however, even more satisfying than the victory itself was the manner in which the Mytes from Brampton won the championship…
